With five locations (two in Boise, one in Eagle, one in Meridian and one in Nampa), we are the largest multi-specialty eye-care clinic in Idaho. The mission of Intermountain Eye Centers is to provide the highest quality eye care available anywhere. Our physicians are trained and experienced in the most advanced medical and surgical treatment of eye disease. Our team is what helps us provide an excellent experience to our patients. Candidate Expectations All our offices can get busy, so a great candidate for this position is someone who can be a self-starter who once they know their tasks can accomplish them without much direction. We try to keep a friendly atmosphere. It is important to feel comfortable asking one another questions and for help when needed. A good applicant for this position is willing/able to travel to different locations as needed . Previous experience in customer service is preferred. Will need to be comfortable with learning some medical terminology, helping triage patient symptoms, and prepared to ask questions when needing further information. A good fit is someone who notices and is willing to help where needed. Job Description Receptionist - Maintains a good patient flow, helps with patient questions, schedules future appointments, and provides a professional atmosphere for the clinics. Job Duties Answering calls Check patients in/out Triaging patient symptoms Entering in patient demographics Submitting vision insurance Collecting co-pays Enter patient demographics in computer Greeting patients and assisting patients as needed Entering outside referrals and calling patients to schedule Following HIPAA guidelines
