Job Description
Medical Front Office Receptionist and Retail Support We are a locally-owned integrative holistic practice, currently seeking an employee who is looking for long term employment with a passion for helping people. This person will be at the heart of our office, therefore we are looking for a positive, friendly, mature and reliable professional to join our team. We are an integrative clinic that is continuing to grow and serve our community's needs. We focus on primary care naturopathic medicine and other holistic services such as acupuncture, chiropractic, massage, IV therapy, constitutional hydrotherapy, and more. As a busy office we are looking for an individual who will: Consistently offer the highest level of personalized patient care while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic and helpful attitude, in a fast-paced setting. Maintain excellent communication and effective working relationships with providers and other office staff. Continually work with front office team members to ensure compassionate and professional care for patients and effective and efficient front office workflow. Perform daily administrative duties including communicating with patients, scheduling, handling patient requests, answering phones (multiple lines), filing, faxing, and copying, and other administrative duties. Oversee front office collections of co-pays and fees for services and supplements. Ensure that necessary forms are completed and properly documented in the patient charts. Maintain patient privacy and information security in accordance with HIPAA standards. Provide support to practitioners in assisting with patient follow-ups, communication, and requests. Attend periodic team meetings.
