## Job Overview We are looking for a dedicated Dental Receptionist to join our dental office team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. ## Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the clinic with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries efficiently.
  • Verify insurance information, collect co-pays, and process payments accurately.
  • Maintain patient records and update information using electronic systems using OpenDental and Weave.
  • Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow and timely services.
  • Assist in managing the front desk operations to uphold a well-organized and welcoming environment. ## Qualifications
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in a dental or medical office setting.
  • Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
  • Proficiency in using phone systems, scheduling software, and electronic health record systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of urgent care procedures or clinic operations is a plus.
