Job Description

We are looking for a friendly and organized receptionist to join our team! The ideal candidate should be ready to welcome all patients with a smile and work as a team player through excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities include:
  • Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer phone calls and emails
  • Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments
  • Schedule appointments and maintain patient records
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
  • Coordinate with other dental office team members to ensure smooth patient flow
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and address their inquiries or concerns
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a dental office is preferred
  • Familiarity with dental software, preferably Dentrix or Dentrix Ascend
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
