Job Description

Dermatology Associates of Oakbrook Terrace, conveniently located in the heart of Chicago's western suburbs, is a comprehensive private practice for adult, pediatric, and cosmetic dermatology. We are looking to hire a Full-time Medical Receptionist who will work closely with physicians and staff to provide the highest quality of care for our patients. Our office is seeking a candidate who is a team player, driven and dependable. If you are looking for a close knit practice and a wonderful place to work then we would love to meet you!
Responsibilities:
  • Greet and provide excellent customer service to patients and their families throughout their visit.
  • Check patients in and out, confirming demographics including insurance information, contact information, in addition to collecting outstanding balances / co-pays as needed.
  • Answer and make outgoing calls to patients and respond to inquiries
  • Maintain patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance
  • Complete general office duties (responding to email inquiries, faxing documents, scanning documents, printing next day schedules).
  • Other duties as assigned by the office manager or provider.
  • Complete daily opening and closing procedures.
Requirements:
  • Must
  • have minimum of 1 year medical office experience or patient facing work environment.
  • Familiarity with digital appointment scheduling
  • EMR Software knowledge preferred
  • Organizational savvy and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask responsibilities efficiently
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • This role requires the ability to remain seated for extended periods of time.
Schedule:
This role follows a four day work week. Our office is closed on Wednesdays and is open one Saturday per month. One office
  • no travel required.
