Job Description

Job Overview We are looking for a friendly , dependable , and professional individual to join our dental team as a front desk receptionist with exceptional room to grow within our practice. No prior dental experience is required. We are happy to train the right candidate who has a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and professionally, establishing a positive first impression Schedule appointments accurately using Dentrix software. Verify patient insurance coverage and explain treatment plans clearly, ensuring understanding and compliance Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently, including updating medical records and documentation review Handle phone communications with professionalism, answering inquiries about services, insurance, and appointment availability Collect payments, process billing, and perform collection activities in accordance with HIPAA regulations Maintain organized medical records and ensure confidentiality of all health information in compliance with clinical confidentiality policies Requirements No dental experience required, training will be provided. Friendly, welcoming and compassionate attitude toward patients. Excellent customer service and communication skills Professional appearance and appropriate attire at all times. Reliable, punctual and dependable attendance. Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in a fast paced environment. Comfortable answering phones, scheduling appointments and greeting patients. Basic computer skills and willingness to learn dental software. Willingness to accept coaching, training, and constructive feedback Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy. Preferred Qualities Outgoing personality with a genuine desire to help others. Quick learner with excellent problem solving skills. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure Commitment to providing outstanding patient care and creating a welcoming office environment.
Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
