Full Job Description Job Summary:
Specialty based Medical practice is seeking a Front Desk Medical Receptionist with some previous medical office experience. Responsibilities will include answering patient phone calls, preparing charts, taking referrals, scheduling return patient appointments, verifying insurance, collecting copays and patient balances. This is a fast paced office that prefers someone who is dependable, organized and has good multi-tasking abilities. The medical receptionist position is a full time position Monday thru Friday with no weekends or holiday work. Employees will work closely with the physician and friendly office staff in a team oriented atmosphere. Light travel will be required on avg 1.5 days/week. Requirement:
  • Prefer some previous medical office experience
  • Good customer service skills
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience desirable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize job duties
  • Team oriented
  • Must be dependable and have good attendance & transportation
