Job Description
You are applying for a position through Medix, a staffing agency. The actual posting represents a position at one of our clients. Job Summary Our client is seeking a Front Desk to join their busy outpatient clinic team. The primary responsibilities include managing patient check-ins and check-outs, answering phones, and ensuring efficient front desk operations. Key Responsibilities Manage front desk, including patient check-in and check-out. Answering the phone and addressing patient inquiries. Ensure timely and accurate EMR entry and insurance verification. Assist with rooming patients and collecting vital signs. Qualifications Front Desk experience required. Medical Assistant experience with vital signs and rooming patients. Experience Minimum 4 years of experience in a relevant field. Experience in medical records management, billing, payments, patient registration, and appointment scheduling. Skills EMR experience. Proficiency in medical records management. Strong communication and organizational skills. Benefits Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances).
