Job Description

Brockton Pediatrics has been in practice for over 40 years. We are searching for an experienced and dependable Medical Secretary to work in our fast paced multicultural Pediatric Offices in Brockton and East Bridgewater. Nights and weekends is a must. Responsibilities Use of Epic for scheduling patient appointments, including registration and insurance verification Patient Check In and Check Out Use of Pulse for patient registration and insurance updates Collect Copays / Payments Answering a heavy volume of incoming calls Usage of appropriate Medical Terminology for chart documentation Prepares documents and forms to patient prior to visit Provides coverage for vacation / sick Completes daily day end activities Perform additional duties assigned by the Manager Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required Experience with Epic Knowledge of Medical Terminology Customer service experience 1 to 2 year experience as a Medical Secretary Summary As a Medical Secretary with Experience in Medical office experience, you will be the frontline representative supporting physicians, patients, and administrative operations. You will manage scheduling, patient check-in/out, medical documentation, and EMR/EHR tasks while delivering exceptional customer service. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, front desk duties, and HIPAA compliance will be essential as you coordinate with clinical staff, handle office communications, and maintain accurate health information records. This role reports to the office/clinic administrator and strives to ensure smooth, timely patient experiences.
Pay:
$22.75 - $24.00 per hour
