Job Description
Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team full time at our state of the art pediatric dental office located in Chelsea, MA. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a dental clinic environment and possess strong administrative skills. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and rewarding setting. Hours Monday & Wednesday 8:40am-6:00pm Tuesday & Thursday 8:40am-5:00pm 2 Saturdays a month 8:40am-2:30pm Duties Answering the phone in a friendly manner with interest in the caller. Schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries. Record and maintain accurate and complete patient information. Greet, check in patients and check out before they leave. Calculate and collect estimated non-covered payments from the patient. Call insurance companies to clarify benefits for patients. Help the patient understand and agree to needed treatment by discussing treatment plans and financial obligations. Assist with administrative tasks including typing, filing, and data entry Support office staff with various tasks as needed Skills Must speak Spanish . Please do not contact us if you do not speak Spanish. Must have a cheerful attitude and be professional in appearance and manner. Must be hard working, ethical, reliable, and have clear, effective communication skills. Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Office work experience or receptionist experience is a preferred. Dental reception experience is a plus. Knowledge of administrative procedures and office management is a plus. Familiarity with dental terminology is a plus. We are looking for someone to start full time immediately.
