Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly, creating a positive first impression and providing excellent customer service. Schedule patient appointments accurately using scheduling software, managing calendar conflicts proactively. Filing Process insurance claims and perform third-party billing tasks using health insurance knowledge and revenue cycle management practices. Verify patient insurance coverage, explain billing procedures, and assist with insurance-related questions. Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy, maintaining organized records for easy retrieval and compliance. Collaborate with internal teams through effective communication to coordinate patient care and administrative operations. Qualifications Proven administrative experience within healthcare settings or medical offices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong understanding of managed care processes, health insurance policies, and third-party billing procedures. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) management systems and medical terminology. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly via phone and in person. Capable of managing schedules efficiently while handling multiple tasks simultaneously. Accurate typing skills with a focus on speed and precision for data entry tasks. Knowledge of revenue cycle management principles to support billing and collections processes.
