Job Description
We are a busy growing specialty medical practice, looking for a full time Medical Receptionist. Specifically, we are looking for a friendly, outgoing person who can relate well to co-workers and patients and who is familiar with health insurance and medical terminology. We offer a competitive salary and benefit package, a 4 day, 30 hour work week (no evenings or weekends) with opportunities to increase work hours. The specific tasks of the job are varied and include the following: Greet and register patients in an Electronic Medical Record (We use eClinicalWorks) Handle front administrative tasks Triaging phone calls, scheduling, verifying insurance, prior authorizations, obtaining referrals, simple billing tasks and getting precerts for procedures Return patient calls Our office has a positive, co-operative and supportive team culture, which is very important to us. We are looking for a person to compliment our culture. You should be an upbeat, positive and professional in person and on the phone with excellent communication skills is.
