Job Description

Job Overview CSS/CNS is looking for reliable and enthusiastic team members to join our team! We currently have positions available in our newest location, If you're looking to join a supportive team where you can make a difference, we'd love to hear from you. We are seeking an experienced, professional, and highly organized Sr. Medical Secretary to join our busy ENT practice. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Responsibilities Register incoming patients and Copay collection Schedule office appointments, surgical procedures, and diagnostic testing. Coordinate surgery scheduling with hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, physicians, and patients. Obtain insurance authorizations and verify patient benefits. Answer multi-line phone system and address patient inquiries professionally. Maintain accurate patient records within the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Prepare surgical paperwork, referrals, and medical documentation. Communicate effectively with physician, clinical staff, patients, and outside providers. Assist with administrative duties including scanning, filing, faxing, and correspondence. Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain patient confidentiality. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of medical office experience required. At least 2 years of surgical scheduling and/or medical scheduling experience required; ENT or surgical specialty experience preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance authorization processes. Experience with EMR systems and Microsoft Office. Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional medical office training or certification is a plus.
Pay:
$26.00 - $29.00 per hour
