Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic dental practice as a Dental Front Office Administrator and become the friendly, organized face of our clinic! In this vital role, you will manage patient interactions, coordinate appointments, handle medical billing and coding, and ensure seamless administrative operations. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment for patients while supporting the clinical team with efficient office management. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, answer phones with professionalism, and schedule appointments efficiently using dental practice management software. Manage patient records, including updating patient records (Eaglesoft), ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Collect payments, process insurance claims, and perform medical billing and coding. Verify insurance coverage and explain dental insurance policies to patients while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies. Review documentation for accuracy, process medical records requests, and support care plan coordination. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing and data entry. Communicate effectively with patients regarding appointment scheduling, billing inquiries, and follow-up care instructions using excellent phone etiquette. Qualifications Proven experience in a dental clinic or medical office environment with strong front desk or administrative support skills. Familiarity with Eaglesoft is highly preferred. Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) along with proficiency in clerical tasks like filing and data entry. Excellent customer service skills combined with professional phone communication and office etiquette. Ability to review documentation accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies. Bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve diverse patient populations. Clinic experience within a healthcare setting is preferred; familiarity with dental office workflows is advantageous. Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 36.0 per week
