Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Receptionist , where you will serve as the welcoming face and organizational backbone of our practice. This vital role blends exceptional patient service with efficient administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations. You will play a key role in managing patient interactions, coordinating appointments, maintaining accurate records, and supporting clinical staff, all while fostering a positive and professional environment for both patients and team members. Key Responsibilities Greet and check in patients warmly, ensuring a positive first impression Schedule and manage appointments using EMR systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks) Verify insurance eligibility and assist with billing and collections Answer and manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism and efficiency Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation Assist with patient intake, data entry, and updating health information Support clinical staff with care coordination and follow-up scheduling Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards Qualifications Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, Eaglesoft) Knowledge of medical coding (CPT, ICD-9/10) is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills Strong understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail Bilingual skills are a plus Prior clinic, hospital, or dental office experience highly preferred Why Join Us? Pay:
