Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and compassionate Dental Receptionist to join our holistic dental office. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive experience for all visitors, supporting our commitment to high-quality patient care, and promoting the overall health-focused values of our practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients in a warm and welcoming manner. Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries with professionalism and empathy. Manage patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance. Verify insurance information and process billing and payments. Provide information to patients about treatment options and holistic dental services. Assist with maintaining office organization and cleanliness. Coordinate with the dental team to ensure smooth office operations. Educate patients about holistic dental health practices and available treatments. Perform general office administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a medical office setting is preferred. Knowledge of dental terminology and basic office procedures. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively. Comfortable working in a holistic health-centered environment. Detail-oriented with the ability to handle sensitive patient information. Proficient in office software (Microsoft Office, Open Dental software a plus). Friendly, patient-focused, and compassionate demeanor.
Preferred Skills:
