Job Description

Front Desk Medical Receptionist We are looking for a Receptionist to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our medical practice. Front Desk duties include offering administrative support across the organization, scheduling appointments, coordinating OB testing, refilling prescriptions, distributing incoming fax correspondences answering phone calls and other administrative duties as needed. This is a customer service role requiring a pleasant, patient personality. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. This role may require working in shifts, flexibility is a plus. Ultimately, the responsibilities of this position are to ensure patients needs are met while executing administrative tasks to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities Greet guests when they arrive at the office in a warm, friendly manner Check out patients. Schedule necessary testing and future appointments Gather appropriate insurance information and demographics Answer incoming phone calls Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable Clean, disinfect waiting room and work area daily Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries Perform other clerical receptionist duties as needed Skills Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role EMR experience helpful Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers) Professional attitude and appearance Solid written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks Customer service attitude High school degree Related keywords : receptionist, administrative assistant, office assistant, front desk receptionist
