Allergy & Asthma Center of Rochester, led by Dr. Ulrich Ringwald and Dr. Robert Czarnecki, have been treating children and adults for over 50 years for allergies, asthma, and other related medical conditions. We have an opening for a person that can work the full 29 hours, four days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday). We are looking for someone who is motived and friendly. Experience in medical billing is a plus and is willing to be trained using our billing system. Must be able to work all the days and times listed below: Monday from 9 am to 6 pm Tuesday from 9 am to 5 pm Thursday from 10 am to 6 pm Friday from 9 am to 5 pm We are closed for lunch for 1 hour from 12 to 1 pm.Job Duties:
Include, but not limited to, utilizing practice management software, posting patient and electronic payments, following up on claims and rejections, answering phone calls, patient intake, scheduling appointments, EMR data entry, pulling/filing charts, interacting with physicians, staff and patients. Qualifications and Requirements- Associate's degree preferred.
- Experience in medical billing with knowledge of ICD-10 coding a plus.
- Someone who is willing to be trained using our billing system.
- Knowledge using Tebra Practice Management a plus.
- Typing at 40+wpm.
- Must possess good communication and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and excellent customer service.
- Motivated and friendly team player.
- Prompt attendance.
- Looking for a long-term position.
