In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing front desk operations, scheduling appointments, and coordinating insurance processes with precision. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and professional front desk experience. Schedule appointments efficiently using dental practice management software Verify patient insurance coverage, explain benefits, and assist with insurance authorizations and pre-authorizations. Review medical documentation for completeness and accuracy to support billing and care plans. Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinic confidentiality policies. Handle phone communication professionally, managing appointment changes, patient inquiries, and follow-up calls with excellent phone etiquette. Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, typing, and 10 key typing to uphold clinic efficiency. Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate seamless patient flow and accurate documentation review. Experience Prior dental office experience is highly preferred Strong knowledge of dental insurance processes Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) alongside strong clerical skills such as filing and data management are important for success in this role. Exceptional customer service skills combined with effective phone communication techniques will help foster positive patient relationships.
