Job Description

Medical Receptionist - Full-Time & Part-Time Roles We are seeking a dependable, friendly, and highly organized Medical Receptionists to join our growing healthcare team. This role is ideal for someone who communicates well, enjoys working with patients, and can efficiently manage a busy front desk environment. Full-time and part-time positions are available. Competitive compensation with performance-based incentives. Responsibilities Welcome patients and provide a professional, friendly check-in and check-out experience Answer incoming calls, respond to patient questions, and route messages appropriately Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments while maintaining an efficient clinic schedule Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and required documentation Collect copays, balances, and other patient payments Maintain accurate patient information within the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR) Communicate effectively with physicians, clinical staff, pharmacies, and patients Assist with referrals, prior authorizations, medical records requests, and other administrative needs Monitor appointment confirmations and help reduce cancellations and no-shows Perform general front-office duties including scanning, faxing, filing, and data entry Help keep the front desk and patient experience organized, efficient, and welcoming Qualifications 1-2 years of previous medical office, receptionist, or customer service experience preferred Experience with EMR/EHR or medical scheduling systems is a plus Strong communication and customer service skills Comfortable speaking with patients by phone and in person Reliable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented Able to multitask and remain professional in a fast-paced environment Basic computer proficiency Knowledge of insurance verification and medical terminology is a plus Compensation & Incentives Competitive hourly compensation based on experience Performance-based incentives Opportunities for increased responsibility and advancement Full-time and part-time schedules available We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, treats patients with respect, and wants to become a valued part of our practice!
