In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a smooth and efficient front desk operation while providing exceptional patient service. Your expertise in Medical-Optical administrative support, electronic health records management, and clinical confidentiality will help facilitate seamless clinic operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to quality patient care through accurate documentation, effective communication, and proficient use of various EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems. Your energetic approach and dedication will help foster a welcoming environment for all patients and staff. Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression while managing the front desk operations with professionalism and enthusiasm Schedule appointments efficiently using EMR systems ,maintaining accurate calendars and patient flow Verify patient insurance coverage, process medical collections, and handle billing inquiries with clarity and accuracy Review and update medical records ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies Assist with coding tasks including CPT Manage electronic health records (EHR systems) including data entry, filing, scanning and maintaining organized medical records Answer multi-line phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, directing inquiries appropriately while providing outstanding customer service Ancillary Optometry testing such as Optos-OCT-Visual Fields-NCT andMedical charting Experience Prior clinic experience in a medical or Optometry office setting is highly preferred Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems Strong knowledge of health insurance Excellent computer skills including electronic health record management software Exceptional customer service skills combined with strong phone communication abilities in a fast-paced environment Join us in delivering compassionate healthcare by ensuring smooth clinic operations through your expertise! Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per week
