Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Optometric Technician / Receptionist, where your enthusiasm and attention to detail will play a vital role in delivering exceptional eye care experiences. In this position, you will be booking appointments, assisting the doctor with pre-testing ,etc. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in both patient care and administrative support within a fast-paced optometry setting. We are looking for an upbeat, fast learner and hard working individual. Ideally someone who is flexible. We are looking for part time. Saturday is a must. 15hr
  • 28 hr Responsibilities Verify patient information, and facilitate the check-in process using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Collect data accurately for pre-testing for the doctor (auto-refractor, lensometry, retinal imaging, NCT). Manage patient records according to HIPAA compliance and confidentiality requirements Handle front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, managing billing inquiries, and processing payments efficiently Maintain a clean, organized clinic environment and ensuring all medical records are accurately filed and secured Maintain and refill the contact lens drawers Monitor, record, and reconcile daily payment transactions to ensure all accounts are accurate and balanced Train new contact lens wearer in office Experience Prior experience in medical office settings or ophthalmology clinics is a bonus but not required Familiarity with EHR and excel Experience with HIPAA regulations ensures confidentiality of patient information at all times Background in retail sales or customer service helps deliver a positive patient experience while supporting clinic operations Hours of operation Monday 10am-6 pm Tuesday 10am

Must have reliable transportation between Eagan and Burnsville. Saturday flexibility is a must.
