Additional Information About the Role PRN Position (as needed basis on scheduling) Location - Barnes Jewish Hospital Not Benefit Eligible Hours will fluctuate between 5 am to 8 pm Monday through Friday No Weekends, O n Call, or Holidays Need to have clear communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose The Unit Secretary performs clerical duties supporting the operations of the patient care team. Responsibilities Supports the clinical operations by providing customer service and clerical support. Transcribes physician orders as appropriate with close attention to detail. Notifies appropriate nurse when STAT orders are written or when coordinating tests and procedures. Communicates new orders to the healthcare team as appropriate.
