Job Overview Join our dynamic dental practice as a Front Desk Receptionist, where you'll be the welcoming face and organizational hub of our clinic! Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued from the moment they walk in Manage appointment scheduling efficiently using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Meditech, or eClinicalWorks, coordinating with clinical staff to optimize daily operations Verify patient insurance coverage and assist with health insurance inquiries, including knowledge of Medicare and other plans Collect and process payments, including medical billing and collections related to dental services, utilizing medical office management software Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records while adhering to HIPAA guidelines and clinical confidentiality policies Answer multi-line phone systems with professionalism, providing information or directing calls appropriately using proper phone etiquette Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry (including 10 key typing), documentation review, and managing electronic health records (EHR) management systems Requirements Proven experience as a medical receptionist or front desk administrative support in a healthcare or dental setting Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally both in person and over the phone Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively Prior clinic experience with medical or dental scheduling, medical records management, and office experience is preferred Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a busy environment Understanding of healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
