Full-Time Office Administration & Clinical Support Salisbury Eyecare and Eyewear — Salisbury, NC We are looking for a full-time, dependable, upbeat, and flexible team member to join our growing eyecare practice! This is a unique role because we are looking for someone who can move comfortably between front desk/office administration and clinical technician responsibilities. We need a team player who enjoys variety, learns quickly, takes initiative, and isn't afraid to jump in wherever they are needed. We are a private optometry practice focused on providing excellent patient care while creating a fun, welcoming experience for our patients. What you'll do Front Desk / Administrative Greet patients and provide a warm, welcoming experience Answer phones and assist patients in person and by phone Schedule and confirm appointments Check patients in and out Collect payments and assist with insurance-related questions Help with patient communications and general office organization Assist with optical/eyewear-related tasks as needed Learn and follow office procedures and workflows Clinical Technician Prepare patients for their examination Perform pre-testing and diagnostic testing Take patient histories and document information accurately Assist doctors during patient care Maintain equipment and clinical areas Help keep patient flow moving efficiently Learn additional testing and clinical skills as you become comfortable We are looking for someone who is: Reliable and dependable — you show up and can be counted on Personable and friendly — you genuinely enjoy working with people A self-starter — you don't automatically wait for someone else to tell you what to do Willing to learn — you don't have to know everything coming in Comfortable asking questions but also willing to learn from the answer and take ownership Flexible — you can switch from answering the phone to helping a patient in the clinic without missing a beat Detail-oriented and able to stay organized in a busy environment A team player who is willing to help wherever needed Comfortable learning technology and computer systems Experience Previous experience in optometry, ophthalmology, healthcare, medical assisting, optical, or a medical office is a plus , but we are willing to train the right person. We are especially interested in someone who has experience in a patient-facing environment and demonstrates good judgment, initiative, and a strong work ethic.
