Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing front desk operations efficiently. This role requires a blend of administrative skills and a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures. Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage phone systems to handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, and address inquiries. Maintain accurate dental records and patient files in compliance with privacy regulations. Process dental collections with professionalism. Utilize Dentrix software for scheduling, patient management, and record keeping. Assist in the coordination of patient flow to ensure timely service delivery. Communicate effectively with healthcare providers to facilitate patient care. Stay informed about ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation and billing processes. Provide support as Dental Receptionist as needed. Requirements Previous experience in a front desk role within dental setting. Previous experience with filing dental insurance Familiarity with Dentrix or similar practice management software is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for managing medical records and files. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with patients and staff. Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 32.0 per week
