Job Description
General Summary The Health Advocate is responsible for direct oversight and management of all the health needs of the youth we serve in the Residential and Independent Living Programs. This includes medication administration, operations, maintenance, policies, procedures, staff training, youth groups, and overall critical functioning for all medications utilized on grounds at Chase Home. Essential Job Functions Support, schedule, and attend all medical and dental appointments to meet each youth's needs. Attend psychiatry appointments as appropriate. Establish and maintain a strong working relationship with Health Direct. Maintain adequate amounts of prescribed medications and refill prescriptions or follow up with doctors/medical providers as needed and relay necessary information to all staff (example
- when medications/doses change in any way).
