Happy Feet Podiatry LLC is seeking a dependable, professional, and patient-focused Medical Office Receptionist / Clinical Support Assistant to join our busy podiatry practice in East Orange, NJ. The ideal candidate is organized, enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to be part of a supportive healthcare team.
Schedule Regular Hours Monday:
9:00 AM•5:00
PM Tuesday:
9:00 AM•5:00
PM Thursday:
8:30 AM•5:00 PM Additional Hours Vacation and staff coverage as needed Wednesdays First and third Fridays of each month Responsibilities Welcome patients and provide exceptional customer service. Answer multi-line phones and schedule appointments. Verify patient demographics and insurance information. Collect copays and patient balances. Prepare treatment rooms for patient care. Assist physicians with front-office and back-office duties. Contact patients regarding appointments and follow-up care. Process prescription requests and communicate with pharmacies. Maintain inventory and restock medical and office supplies. Clean and sterilize instruments in accordance with office protocols. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations. Perform general office cleaning and organization. Perform other duties as assigned to support the practice. Qualifications Required Excellent customer service and communication skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Basic computer skills Reliable transportation and excellent attendance Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Medical office experience Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy experience Knowledge of medical terminology Experience verifying insurance benefits Experience scheduling patients Bilingual in Spanish and/or Haitian Creole Compensation Competitive hourly pay based on experience Paid training Consistent weekly schedule Opportunities for additional hours Why Join Happy Feet Podiatry?
