Job Description
You are applying for a position through Medix, a staffing agency. The actual posting represents a position at one of our clients. Job Summary Our client is seeking a dedicated and organized Front Desk Manager to join their team. The primary responsibilities include managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily front desk activities in a fast-paced outpatient surgery setting. Key Responsibilities Greeting patients Scheduling appointments Answering heavy phone inquiries Registering patients Checking-in/out processes Posting charges Completing necessary forms Maintaining patient records Skills Friendly demeanor and excellent customer service skills Organized with the ability to multi-task Strong work ethic Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Bilingual in Spanish (preferred) Experience in hand surgery specialty and with Allscripts (preferred) Additional Requirements Must be flexible to cover any of the client's three office locations. Benefits Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances).
