Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks in a fast-paced clinic environment. This role requires proficiency in medical office systems and a strong understanding of medical billing and records management. Duties Greet patients warmly and assist with the check-in process. Schedule appointments and manage the clinic calendar efficiently. Handle incoming calls, addressing inquiries, and directing them to appropriate staff as needed. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations. Process patient information using electronic health record systems such Dermwrite & AdvanceMD Assist with medical billing processes, including verifying insurance information and handling Medicare claims. Perform 10 key typing for data entry tasks related to patient records and billing. Support office management functions, ensuring a clean and organized reception area. candidates are encouraged to apply to assist with diverse patient communication. Qualifications Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar administrative role within a healthcare setting is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology, office management practices, and medical billing processes. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual abilities are highly desirable. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of Medicare processes is advantageous. Must be
