Job Description

We are seeking a friendly, compassionate, and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team supporting seven physicians in a busy orthopedic surgery practice specializing in hand and upper extremity care. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and committed to providing exceptional customer service. They should excel at multitasking, thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate a strong work ethic, and work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Primary responsibilities include:
Greeting and checking patients in and out Scheduling appointments and coordinating provider schedules Answering and directing high-volume phone calls Verifying insurance and obtaining referrals/authorizations as needed Collecting co-pays and updating patient demographics Maintaining accurate electronic medical records Providing outstanding customer service while ensuring an exceptional patient experience Performing other administrative duties as assigned Previous medical office experience is preferred.

$41,600.00 - $47,840.00 per year
