The position will start ASAP and ends approximately the end of November. We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team on a temp basis to help fill in for a maternity leave. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations, providing exceptional patient service, and ensuring the smooth flow of administrative tasks within our medical office. Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming environment. Manage patient scheduling, including appointment bookings, confirmations, and cancellations. Handle incoming calls on a multi-line phone system with professionalism and courtesy. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations Provide administrative support including filing, typing, and maintaining health information management systems, scanning. Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate care plans for patients. Utilize EMR systems such as Allscripts or similar platforms for patient management. Support the office with clerical tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations. Data entry, checking in pts , checking out pts Experience Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar medical administrative role is preferred but we are willing to train Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to enhance patient communication. Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are required for effective patient interactions. Prior clinic or hospital experience will be considered an advantage.
