The center offers specialty services in spinal surgery and medicine, neurovascular disease, movement disorders, pain and palliative neurosurgery, neuro-oncology and skull-base surgery, gamma knife radiosurgery, Chiari malformation and hydrocephalus, and pediatric neurosurgery. Job Description We are seeking a friendly and organized Medical Receptionist to join our dynamic team. Our practice offers a collaborative work setting, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to contribute significantly to patient care at our state-of-the-art facility. Responsibilities Greeting patients warmly and efficiently, both in person and on the phone. Collecting patient information and quickly verifying insurance coverage. Process patient check-in/out procedures, collecting co-pays and patient information. Assisting patients with completing necessary paperwork and ensuring they feel comfortable by addressing any immediate concerns. Responding to patient inquiries by providing accurate information about physician availability and services. Schedule appointments efficiently, ensuring accurate data entry and confirmation calls. Managing patient records and ensuring their confidentiality. Supporting providers by coordinating follow-up care, sending out prescriptions, and managing patient transitions between different care settings. Other duties and responsibilities at the discretion of management. Qualifications Associate or bachelor's degree preferred, High school diploma or equivalent required. 1+ years of experience in a customer service or medical office setting. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with eClinicalWorks (ECW) a plus. Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively. Positive attitude and a genuine desire to help others. Schedule Monday-Friday, 8:30AM-5:00PM. No weekends.
