Job Description

Job Overview We are a friendly, patient focused dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional care in a welcoming environment. We are looking for a dependable, organized, and personable Dental Receptionist to join our team. If you enjoy helping people, thrive in a fast paced office, and have excellent communication skills, we'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities Greet and welcome patients with a friendly and professional attitude. Answer incoming phone calls and schedule patient appointments. Verify dental insurance benefits and obtain pre-authorizations when needed. Check patients in and out efficiently. Collect co-pays, balances, and process payments. Maintain accurate patient records and update demographic information. Coordinate treatment schedules with the clinical team. Confirm appointments and manage recalls. Assist with administrative duties including scanning, filing, and correspondence. Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality. Help create a positive, organized, and efficient front office environment. Skills Previous dental receptionist or dental front office experience preferred. Experience with dental practice management software (Dentrix) preferred. Strong computer and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Reliable, punctual, and detail oriented.
