Parabolic Performance & Rehab, a provider of high-quality sports Physical Therapy and Performance Training has three full-service physical therapy centers offering multiple ancillary services in the Northern NJ area. All facilities are designed to provide an ideal environment where physical therapy and performance training co-exist. The office is a fast-paced environment managing high volume customer traffic and calls. Parabolic is looking to hire an experienced full-time Physical Therapy Receptionist for the Montclair, Little Falls, and Hackensack Location. What You Will Be Working on: The Physical Therapy Receptionist will be the face of Parabolic. Internally referred to as the Client Care Associate (CCA), the person in this role will attend to clients and patients with exceptional professionalism. The CCA will simultaneously provide support to all staff: providing outstanding customer service, assisting with sales of all services offered at Parabolic- -including Physical Therapy. This is a Full-Time Position requiring at minimum 35
- 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist all clients and patients with check-in process Processing Insurance verification and authorizations Collect Co-Insurance payments and all fees proctored Register new patients and clients in electronic database, ie. WebPT Manage multiple phone lines and respond to all inquiries in a timely manner, across all locations. Take reservations for performance classes and programs offered Maintain physical therapy schedule Following proper procedures for opening/closing facilities. Managing the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, including scanning, E-filing, and E-faxing necessary documents Assist in promoting / selling of Performance Training Packages, physical therapy, and other services Process payments through a POS system, close out cash register, collect checks, and secure them for billing department Work closely with all managers and directors to meet the goals of the company Assist in the maintenance of facility cleanliness Other duties as assigned by manager.Qualifications:
Excellent written and oral communication skills. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to interact with patients and staff. Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply protocols and procedures in a clinical setting including health information management, confidentiality, and safety. Organize and prioritize responsibilities while remaining flexible to changing demands. Strong background with insurance verifications and authorizations. Working knowledge of MS, Excel, Outlook, and Word 2007 or higher. Experience in Sales and Marketing preferred Past exposure to POS software and WebPT, ClubReady, or similar systems Ability to maintain professionalism and a positive attitude throughout the duration of your shift.Education and experience:
High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred Minimum of 3 years of experience as a front desk representative in a healthcare or outpatient physical therapy environment and/or gym-like setting Minimum of 3 years of experience with verification/authorization of insurancePay:
$17.00- $19.
