Nussbaum Chiropractic is looking for an exceptional Medical Receptionist to join our team. We are a busy, high-energy chiropractic office with a fun, friendly atmosphere and a strong commitment to providing the highest level of care and service to our patients. Our office moves quickly, our team works closely together, and we are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and wants to become an important part of our practice. This is not simply a position for someone looking to sit behind a front desk. 8:00 AM•11:00 AM What You'll Do As one of the first and last people our patients interact with, you will play an important role in both the patient experience and the day-to-day operation of the office. Responsibilities include greeting and checking patients in and out, answering phones, scheduling appointments, collecting copays and patient balances, reviewing patient account information and office alerts, verifying insurance information, assisting with basic insurance and billing-related tasks, maintaining accurate patient records, and helping keep the front office organized and running efficiently. You will also work closely with our doctors and clinical staff to help manage patient flow and make sure patients receive an outstanding experience from the moment they walk through the door. Familiarity with insurance copays, deductibles, coinsurance, eligibility verification, and basic billing terminology is a major plus.
