Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Dental Receptionist, where your energetic and organized approach will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. In this vital role, you will manage patient scheduling, handle medical and dental administrative tasks, and ensure a smooth flow of clinic operations. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment while supporting efficient clinic workflows. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in medical office management within a fast-paced dental practice. Duties Greet patients warmly, verify their appointment details, and check in/out efficiently Schedule appointments accurately, coordinate with clinical staff, and manage calendar updates to optimize patient flow Collect and process payments, insurance information, and outstanding balances Answer multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette; direct calls appropriately and handle patient inquiries promptly Support clinical staff by preparing care plans documentation and verifying insurance coverage Skills Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally both in person and over the phone Ability to perform clerical tasks such as typing (including 10-key), appointment scheduling Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a busy clinic environment This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to contribute to quality patient care in a supportive dental practice setting.
