Our patients and our team are our family. We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing appointment scheduling, patient check-in and check-out, insurance verification, sending claims and administrative support. This role requires excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of dental terminology and office procedures. The Dental Receptionist plays a vital role in ensuring smooth office operations while providing exceptional patient service in a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a positive patient experience Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments using Eaglesoft dental practice management software. Verify insurance coverage and benefits, including Medicare and dental insurance plans Collect payments, process dental claims. Maintain accurate patient records. Review documentation for completeness and accuracy, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies. Assist with patient intake procedures, including updating medical history and insurance information. Manage multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette to handle inquiries and appointment requests. Facilitate communication between patients and clinical staff regarding patient treatment plans. Perform administrative tasks such as filing, and maintaining organized dental records. Scanning patient information into patient charts. Requirements Proven experience in a dental office or medical administrative support role; dental office experience is highly preferred Proficiency with Eaglesoft is a plus but we will train the right candidate. Strong knowledge of dental terminology and insurance verification processes. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies to ensure patient privacy at all times Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations Strong organizational skills with clerical experience in filing, documentation review. Pay:
