Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations in a busy Internal Medicine office ensuring smooth patient flow, and providing exceptional customer service. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for patients while maintaining accurate medical records and administrative tasks. Duties Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner. Manage appointment scheduling and confirm patient visits. Handle clerical tasks such as answering phones, responding to inquiries, and managing correspondence. Process medical collections and assist with billing inquires, track patient data and appointments. Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information. Confirm Insurance eligibility Skills Proficient in clerical duties with strong organizational abilities. Familiarity with medical terminology to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals and patients. Experience in office management practices within a healthcare setting is preferred. Ability to type efficiently for data entry tasks. Knowledge of medical records management systems and procedures. Strong administrative skills with attention to detail in documentation processes. Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and staff.
