Job Description
We are looking for a welcoming and organized Medical Receptionist to support daily front-desk operations for a healthcare facility in Manlius, New York. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping patients, managing scheduling activities, and keeping the reception area running efficiently. The person in this role will serve as a key point of contact for visitors and patients while helping maintain a smooth administrative workflow in a busy clinical setting.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients and visitors in a courteous manner, provide check-in support, and guide them through front-desk procedures.
- Coordinate appointment scheduling, confirm upcoming visits, and update calendars to help ensure efficient patient flow.
- Answer incoming calls, respond to routine questions, and direct messages to the appropriate clinical or administrative staff.
- Maintain accurate patient information in office records and assist with documentation updates as needed.
- Support day-to-day medical front office operations, including reception coverage, intake preparation, and general administrative tasks.
- Communicate clearly with patients regarding forms, visit details, and office procedures to create a positive service experience.
- Assist with basic clerical and scribe-related duties to support providers and office staff when needed.
