In this essential role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming environment while managing all front desk operations with efficiency and professionalism. Your energetic approach will help streamline patient flow, handle administrative tasks, and support the overall success of our dental practice. Duties Greet patients warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression and smooth check-in process Manage appointment scheduling using dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix, coordinating with clinical staff to optimize patient flow Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance verification processes efficiently Collect payments, process medical collections, and manage billing using systems like Meditech, Epic, or Athenahealth Maintain accurate and organized medical records and documentation review in compliance with HIPAA regulations Handle multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette to answer inquiries, schedule appointments, and address patient needs Assist with medical administrative support including intake forms, filing, data entry (10 key typing), and managing electronic health records (EHR systems like eClinicalWorks or Meditech) Experience Previous clinic or dental office experience is highly preferred; familiarity with dental terminology and medical coding (CPT, ICD-9/10) is a plus Demonstrated proficiency in EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar practice management software Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and health information management tools Experience with insurance verification processes and medical billing/coding procedures Bilingual abilities are advantageous to serve diverse patient populations effectively Excellent customer service skills combined with strong organizational abilities and attention to detail Prior experience in medical office management or front desk roles within healthcare settings is highly desirable Bilingual Spanish/ English Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to providing exceptional patient care while supporting your professional growth.
