Job Description

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and highly organized Dental Receptionist to join our growing dental practice. The Dental Receptionist is the first point of contact for our patients and plays a critical role in creating a positive patient experience. Exceptional phone skills are essential for this position. The ideal candidate must be confident answering a high volume of calls, communicating clearly and professionally, scheduling appointments efficiently, and helping patients feel welcomed and valued from their very first interaction with our office. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Answer incoming phone calls promptly, professionally, and courteously Schedule and confirm patient appointments Manage patient inquiries regarding services, insurance, and office policies Greet and check in patients upon arrival Verify insurance information and update patient records Collect payments and process transactions Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow Manage recalls and follow-up communications Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk environment Qualifications Previous dental or medical front office experience preferred Outstanding verbal communication and customer service skills Strong phone etiquette and the ability to build rapport with patients Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Positive attitude, professionalism, and attention to detail What We're Looking For The right candidate understands that every phone call is an opportunity to provide exceptional service and help patients feel comfortable choosing our practice.
