Full Job Description Front Desk Receptionist Schedule:
Monday through Friday 6am-3pm Compensation Range $17- 19 2 Week Temp to Hire-Ask for Details
Job Summary:
The Receptionist will greet, assist, and provide direction and information to patients, clients, visitors, and other guests of the practice.Duties/Responsibilities:
- Greets clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each
- person's visit and directs or escorts him or her to the appropriate location.
- Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff on a multi-line phone
- system; takes messages and schedules appointments.
- Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items.
- Performs administrative and clerical support tasks, ie. Filing, photocopying, and faxing.
- Performs basic filing and recordkeeping
- Register patients
- Performs other duties as business needs dictate.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Prior medical office experience preferred
- Experience with insurance eligibility and verification strongly preferred
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Bilingual preferred.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
