Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and organized Part Time Receptionist/Admin to join our team! This energetic role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys providing exceptional customer service, and excels at managing administrative tasks with efficiency and professionalism and for future Doctors/Nurses looking to learn dermatology. As the first point of contact for patients and callers, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while supporting daily office operations. This position offers flexibility, growth opportunities, and the chance to develop a broad skill set in office management and patient communication. Looking for someone who can commit to at least a year in our practice. Duties Greet patients warmly, ensuring they feel welcomed and attended to promptly Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and clear communication Handle incoming calls, direct inquiries appropriately, and take detailed messages when necessary Perform data entry and filing to maintain accurate records Assist with calendar management and scheduling appointments for patients Support office management tasks such as organizing supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and overseeing general administrative functions Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and EMR systems to prepare documents, reports, and correspondence efficiently Manage patient communication with professionalism, ensuring timely follow-up and support as needed Perform clerical duties such as data entry to keep office operations running smoothly Experience Previous medical/dermatology office experience or administrative support roles preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively. Excellent computer literacy with proficiency in Lytec, ModMed (EMA) & Edvak preferred. Customer service experience demonstrating friendly and professional client interactions Familiarity with front desk responsibilities such as phone reception and entering patient demographics and posting payments.
