Job Description

Overview An amazing BAHS repeat client located in East Hampton is seeking a weekend live-in nanny to join their home and care for their 2.5-year-old girl. The ideal candidate is warm, outdoorsy, hands-on, and experienced with toddlers. The family loves a nanny who is genuinely part of their dynamic; not someone blending into the background, but an active, engaging presence who enjoys being involved. Mom works full-time during the week and enjoys being involved with her daughter on the weekends, so the nanny must be comfortable working alongside Mom while also confidently providing full-charge care when needed. Friday is the longest day and requires full-charge care while Mom works from home, with the child attending school from approximately 9:00 AM-12:00 PM. She generally sleeps from 7:30 PM-7:30 AM, and the nanny will not be responsible for nighttime wake-ups. The nanny will live in Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, with a private bedroom and bathroom provided. The family would love someone open to domestic and international travel, although this is not required. Candidates based in the Hamptons or Long Island are strongly preferred for ease and sustainability of the commute. The position is available ASAP; however, the family is willing to wait for the right long-term fit.
