Job Description
Description We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Medical Receptionist to join a busy healthcare office. This role serves as the first point of contact for patients and plays a key role in creating a positive patient experience. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced medical environment. Responsibilities + Greet patients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner + Answer and route incoming phone calls + Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments + Register patients and update demographic and insurance information + Verify insurance eligibility and obtain necessary documentation + Maintain accurate patient records and perform data entry + Collect co-pays and process payments as needed + Manage incoming faxes, emails, and correspondence + Assist providers and clinical staff with administrative tasks + Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations + Perform general office duties, including filing, scanning, and organizing record Requirements Qualifications + High school diploma or GED required + Previous medical receptionist, healthcare, customer service, or administrative experience preferred + Familiarity with Epic required + Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Strong organizational and multitasking abilities + Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality + Detail-oriented with accurate data entry skills + Ability to work independently and as part of a team TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
