Front Desk Receptionist - Outpatient Physical Therapy Cardinal Physical Therapy - Chesterland, OH Cardinal Physical Therapy is looking for a fast paced, organized, and dependable Front Desk Receptionist to join our growing outpatient physical therapy practice. This is a fast-paced, busy front desk position where you will be an important part of creating a positive experience for our patients. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, can multitask effectively, and stays calm and professional in a busy healthcare environment. What You'll Do Greet patients and provide exceptional customer service Answer phones and respond to patient questions Schedule and confirm patient appointments Check patients in and out Verify insurance benefits and patient information Collect copays and other patient balances Maintain accurate patient records Communicate with therapists and other staff throughout the day Handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail Assist with general administrative and front office responsibilities Help keep the front desk and waiting area organized and welcoming What We're Looking For Previous medical office, healthcare, or customer service experience preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Comfortable answering phones and interacting with patients Professional, friendly, and positive attitude Reliable and dependable Strong attention to detail Comfortable learning insurance and healthcare terminology Ability to work independently while also being a team player Computer proficiency The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who enjoys people, takes pride in their work, and thrives in a busy environment .
