Norton Family Practice is looking for a Medical Receptionist with a passion for helping others to be the first and last point of contact for our patients. Responsibilities:
Greeting all patients and visitors Perform patient check in and check out Verify patient's contact and personal information at all visits Verify the patient's insurance and collect any associated co-pays at the time of service Answer incoming calls and directs the caller accordingly Maintain patient privacy by following HIPAA guidelines and safety rules Conduct patient appointment reminders
Requirements:
Excellent customer service skills Possess a strong knowledge of medical office procedures Demonstrate excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Energetic, with a desire to surpass expectations Positive teamwork approach
