Job Description
We are looking for a Medical Receptionist to join a healthcare team in Reynoldsburg, Ohio in a Contract to Permanent position. This role serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, helping create a welcoming and efficient front office environment while supporting daily clinical operations. The ideal candidate brings strong administrative skills, sound judgment, and a patient-centered approach to scheduling, documentation, and communication.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients, visitors, and staff with professionalism and compassion while managing front desk interactions throughout the day.
- Coordinate appointments across multiple providers and services to support an organized and efficient patient schedule.
- Enter and maintain accurate patient information, ensuring records remain current, complete, and well organized.
- Support virtual visits by assisting with telehealth scheduling, communication, and patient readiness as needed.
- Safeguard confidential patient and organizational information by following healthcare privacy standards and office policies.
- Track front office supply levels, assist with equipment calendar coordination, and help maintain an orderly reception area.
- Recognize urgent concerns and route them promptly to clinical team members or leadership for appropriate follow-up.
- Partner with providers and administrative staff to keep daily operations running smoothly and deliver a positive patient experience.
