Here we grow again!!! CFM is a private family medicine clinic nestled in the beautiful hills of Corvallis Oregon located close to shops, restaurants, and OSU. We are looking for a self-starter who enjoys working with people in a fast-paced, dynamic, team oriented environment, that exceeds patient expectations. As the face and voice of CFM we are looking for welcoming, detail oriented, efficient, and effective Medical Receptionists. Medical Receptionists, who want to be the director of first impressions, will find a home at CFM providing customer service over the phone and in-person. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES IN THIS ROLE INCLUDE
Acting as a liaison with patients and providers in a compassionate and kind manner ensuring patient paperwork has been completed. Highly responsive to telephone calls in a detail-oriented and effective manner within minimum rings. Making appointments, collecting co-pays, helping out in the management of patient medical records, receiving patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries, ensuring the waiting and reception areas are kept neat and clean; reporting on any damage.

  • Successfully apply knowledge of various resources/models of recovery to assist and care for others . Clerical
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, and other office procedures and terminology. Confidentiality
  • Knowledge of State and Federal (HIPAA) laws pertaining to confidentiality of protected health information. Ability to comply with laws and maintain confidentiality of patient information. Time Management
  • Ability to organize, plan and prioritize work to complete within required time frames and to follow-up on pending issues. Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in dynamic fast-paced environments and under pressure. Team Building
  • Ability to work, function and communicate on a multi-disciplinary team.
Possess the knowledge and skills to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintain them over time. Social Perceptiveness, ability to work with a diverse population from pediatrics to geriatrics. Basic understanding of age-related differences in caring for and/or communicating with patients and caregivers. Possess personal sensitivity to the needs and experiences of others and a non-judgmental attitude towards persons of differing standards, values, lifestyles, and ages.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience and/or training with computer applications required. Minimum of one (1) year of medical experience and/or training in a position of similar responsibility and complexity preferred. Experience and/or training with medical/insurance terminology required.
